Jean Giraud, The man known as “Moebius” dead at 73

From my point of view, very little can be said about Moebius and his contribution to pop culture in general, this man has worked on so many movie projects and created so many concepts that these few lines doesn’t make any justice and cannot express the pain of losing such a talented man. His visuals always were rich in detail and told a story by itself. You can feel his influence as concept artist in films like  Willow (1988), The Abyss (1989), Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland, The Fifth Element (1997) to name a few. He was also the concept artist behind the 1995 videogame “Panzer Dragon”. His greatest contribution to the comic industry was a story for Marvel’s Silver Surfer that artists like Jim Lee and Mike Mignola find inspirational. His talent will be missed.
